Small Intimate Wedding in Colorado Mountains | White Owl Ranch
When I think of my couples that show the world the true definition of love and putting it into practice, I think of Savanna + Christian. They not only LOOK amazing together, but watching them in person makes it obvious that they were meant to be.
Something their pastor said during their intimate ceremony that stuck with me, was that they work together as a team in all things. I witnessed it in them when I asked them to sit in a canoe during their engagement session, and they decided (on their own) to stand on the shaky thing and kiss. They talked each other through that plan and made it work - WITHOUT falling in. I am honestly STILL impressed! Throwback to that epic shot, here!
When we decided to use some smoke bombs for their wedding portraits, the teamwork escalated. They had to listen to my instruction, all while smoke was blowing all around them. And they NAILED It. They’re the kind of people that you just know that if they can communicate and work together so well on these little things, then this whole messy thing we call “life” is going to be okay with them holding each other through it. I love this couple and all that they’ve been through and think their story has some very beautiful things to teach the world. Grateful I met them and got to document such an incredible day in their story.
